Tech for Authors
Algis Budrys taught that all you need to write are 1. something to write on and 2. something to write with.
However, I’ve found that I wrote much more quickly when I upgraded from a broken crayon and a Big Mac wrapper to a dual-monitor Dell Inspiron with an outlining program.
It’s a crutch; I know. The tech toys do seem to impress the uninitiated, though.
