Linux Mint is working fine
During my trip out of state, which ends today, Windows 7 secided that I no longer owned the copy of it that came OEM on my Dell laptop. Yes, I tend to poke around in the guts of the OS, but some virus was systematically corrupting every program on the computer.
When it corrupted Apophysis, and corrupted every re-install, of course it went over the line into intolerable.
So I wiped the entire drive, including he verboten re-imaging partition, and then installed Linux Mint.
Apophysis, and everyhing else I need, works quite well, either with WINE, Mono, HPsip, or right out of the box.
Thumbs up and kudos to the Linux Mint crew.
